As Alpplas, we were deemed worthy of the 'Key Contributor Partner' award at the Huawei Türkiye Core Partners Conference 2024.

As Alpplas, we are proud to reach more than 1 million disadvantaged students thanks to the science sets we have produced in collaboration with Twin since 2018.The 'Science Mobilization' Project carried out by Young Guru Academy (YGA) offers bright but disadvantaged young people and children the opportunity to get acquainted with technology. Its aim is to make children love science and to give them the ability to think innovatively.Especially after the February 6 earthquakes, the educations held in 11 provinces touched the lives of children and opened the doors of science and technology for them.We will continue to work together to reach more children!

Our R&D Center, AlpNext, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in 2017, has been working in the fields of innovation, digitalization and sustainability for 7 years.

We have started our investment process by signing a contract with Gün İnşaat for the complete construction of our new Manisa facility. We aim to expand our domestic and international customer network by increasing our total production capacity with our modern facility, which we plan to start production in mid-2025.

We received project approval from Eureka, an international cooperation platform founded in 1985 by 19 European countries including Turkey and the EU Commission.We are very excited to take part in the ‘gReen Energy for Cloud blocKchain cOmputiNg (RECKON)’ Project, which we applied to the 24th Call of the Eureka Eurogia Cluster and received approval from 5 partners (4 companies, 1 university) from Turkey, Hungary and the Czech Republic.As Alpplas, we will implement the IoTInteligentGateway component in the RECKON Project. Within this scope, we will develop the hardware and software of the component and present a product that receives and transmits data with GSM, Wi-Fi, Ethernet communication modules.We are honored to contribute to this project, which aims to increase the competitive power of industrial and research organizations in European countries in world markets.

We are proud to be a part of the 'Equalize Opportunity, Diversify Talent' Project, which was implemented by TAYSAD (Automotive Supply Manufacturers Association). We held our first meeting for the project, which was initiated with the aim of creating a gender equality approach that will be a role model in the automotive supply industry, increasing women's employment in the sector, and implementing practices that will create a roadmap for other sectors.

Material management is one of the factors that directly affect efficiency in electronics production. Storing thousands of different components according to the specific storage conditions of each material and being able to prepare the materials needed in production on the shop floor in the shortest time and correctly is a prerequisite for uninterrupted production. That's why, at Alpplas, we use Kardex Remstar automatic vertical storage solutions designed for electronic components.

Our project, "Productivity Increase with Robotic Soldering and Programming" was awarded the third prize in the Lean Transformation Category in the 2023 Efficiency Project Awards Competition organized by the General Directorate of Strategic Research and Efficiency of the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Additionally, two of our projects were among the finalists in the Energy Efficiency and Localization Categories.

Conformal coating in electronic card production finds its place in more and more projects every day. Protecting circuit boards and components from harmful environmental conditions such as moisture, thermal shock, static, vibration, and contamination with regional coating ensures that the cards operate at the targeted performance for a much longer time. At Alpplas, we protect critical electronic cards produced for many sectors, from automotive to white goods, in 3 coating lines in our facilities.

As one of Turkey's leading EMS suppliers, we know very well the importance of constantly renewing and improving ourselves. For this reason, we continuously follow the latest technologies and continue to invest in this field. In addition to increasing our production capacity with our new SMT line that we commissioned in our Acron Bolu EMS facility, we also increased our flexibility with the double-line feature of the Hanwha typesetting machines we preferred. Nowadays, EMS suppliers must carry out low-quantity and high-quantity production with the same precision and speed. At Alpplas, we produce high and low batch sizes most precisely and efficiently.

The operations of Boluplas, one of our subsidiaries, were taken over by Alpplas, and the merger process was completed. With the merger, we will be increasing increase efficiency and production flexibility and thus offer our customers faster and more competitive solutions.

Our R&D Center 'AlpNext', which we established with the aim of providing engineering services with high quality and technical superiority to our customers with our experience of over 30 years, and creating solutions with an innovative approach by closely following the developing technologies, is 6 years old.

Alpplas Industrial Investments Inc. After the earthquake that took place in our country on Monday, February 6th, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş and deeply affected 10 provinces, we took action and provided the urgently needed materials in the region in the first place and delivered them to the regions affected by the earthquake, especially Hatay, by trucks. At the same time, we delivered the aid materials collected with the participation of more than 1,000 employees within the company to the region in the same way. In addition to short-term support, under the leadership of the Governorship of Bolu, in order to support the housing problem needed in the region; As Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bolu Organized Industrial Zone Directorate, our company, which supports by taking part in the Container City project to be created in the disaster area, will continue to provide personnel support to the prefabricated houses manufactured in Istanbul Tüyap Congress and Fair Center and shipped to the region.

The United Nations Global Compact is launching the SDG (17 Sustainable Development Goals) Acceleration Program (SDG Ambition) for the first time in Turkey. The program, which will support UN Global Compact member companies in setting ambitious and realistic corporate goals and accelerating the integration of SDGs into business processes, will last for 6 months. We, as Alpplas, take part in this program in order to be a part of the transformative journey initiated by the Global Compact to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Within the scope of the "R&D 250" study prepared by the economy and business world portal Turkishtime since 2013, we have been ranked in the second 250 among the companies that spend the most on R&D in Turkey. Although the year 2020 was recorded as a lost period all over the world, like 2019, it was determined as a result of the research that 500 companies made a total of 16 billion 995 million TL in R&D expenditures. In the research that reveals where Turkey has reached in its value-added journey, ASELSAN maintains its place in the first place with an expenditure of 3 billion 356 million TL. We achieved an important success by being among the top 500 in the list of giant names. We hope to continue our R&D activities at the same pace throughout the year and achieve greater success together.

Huawei, one of the world's leading technology companies, which has been operating in Turkey for nearly 20 years, recently met with its business partners at the 'Huawei Turkey Core Partners Conference 2021' online event. As part of the event, Alpplas was awarded the 'Outstanding Performance Partner' award. We would like to thank our valuable business partner Huawei for this award, which makes us proud and wishes our continued success.

We signed a cooperation agreement with Istanbul University. We believe that we will achieve successful projects together by combining academic knowledge with industry experience with university-industry cooperation.

We signed a cooperation agreement with Marmara University Innovation and Technology Transfer Application and Research Center (MİTTO) in order to transfer the knowledge of the university to the industry and the technology existing in the industry to the university.

In September, we were entitled to receive a Safe Production Certificate as a result of the audits carried out by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) at our Istanbul Plant. As Alpplas, we continue our work in both locations by taking the necessary measures for all our stakeholders from the beginning of the epidemic, and we will continue.

We have been following the developments closely from the beginning of the Covid-19 Outbreak and taking the necessary measures to protect our employees, customers, and business partners' health. In this context, we were entitled to receive a Safe Production Certificate as a result of the inspections carried out by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) in our Bolu facility in September.As Alpplas, we will continue to work closely with legal authorities and take all possible precautions.

The effects of the outbreak that started in China on the supply chain continues increasingly. Due to the fact that many factories do not start production or start with limited capacity after the end of the Chinese holiday, many material groups, especially electronic components, are experiencing supply shortage. It remains unclear when the current situation will improve due to the outbreak. As Alpplas in this period, we target to minimize the effect of this situation by staying in close contact with our customers and suppliers. We closely monitor the prolonged deadlines, supply limit restrictions, price fluctuations, and prolonged shipping times, and try to produce the most suitable solutions for all parties. We hope that the Corona virus outbreak will end in a short time without further loss of life.

Alpplas received the second prize at the annual Productivity Project Awards organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. We congratulate our team for implementing the “Productivity Increase Project on the White Goods Line” which received the prize.

Alpplas ranked 282 place according to R&D expenditures of companies in Turkey as of year 2018.  We increase our R & D expenditures every year with our belief in innovation and the future.

At the RAP (Radiation Applications) Conference held in Serbia, our R & D Engineer Nesrin Tekin made his presentation titled With Electron Reader Design With RADFET (pMOSFET) Sensor ından based on the Radiation Dosimeter card designed in our R & D Center.

The Alpplas team was at the IFA consumer electronics fair in Berlin on September 4-9. While many innovations were introduced to consumers for the first time, especially in the field of white goods, we, as Alpplas, were pleased to see the interest of consumers in the technologies we developed together with our customers. Numerous innovations such as devices that communicate with each other at the fair, applications that make the user's life easier, products that protect foods with lower energy consumption in longer cooler groups, smart cooking technologies in the cooker group and environmentalist approaches in the washing group came into prominence this year. We are proud to be a part of this important ecosystem.

We signed a solution partnership protocol with Arel Professional (ArelPro) Project of Arel University within the scope of business-university cooperation.

Turkey Exporters Assembly ınovalig of the development program of innovation by the evaluation made outstanding achievements in 2018 were eligible to receive the certificate. Although we still have a long way to go, we will continue to work to maximize our innovation culture. We attended the ‘Workshop Days 19’ organized by the students in the IEEE Computer Society, Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Burdur between April 25 and 25. Our Assistant General Manager Halil Bozkurt delivered a presentation about R&D Management System, our Quality Assurance Director Demet Erol talked about 5 S and Lean Production Applications and, our R&D Engineer Ebru Üstünbaş made a speech concerning the Design of Printed-Circuit Cards and Firmware Project Management to the students. After these presentations, our R&D Engineer Burak Enez gave the students Altium Designer Training and, answered to their questions about built-in systems.

Under the scope of the Istanbul Development Agency / ISTKA Entrepreneurship Financial Support Program, the opening and introductory meeting of the ‘Project on Software and Artificial Intelligence Development for Seed Algorithm Healthcare Sector’ and, the ‘Project on Arelpotkam Center of Development and Fast Prototyping of Advanced Engineering Materials for Common Usage’ took place on April 29. Under the scope of these projects we take place as a business partner, we at Alpplas R&D Center plan to take an active place in respect of the design and prototypes of printed-circuit cards, the development of firmware, the provision of expert support etc. and, also to deliver significant outputs from the artificial intelligence research conducted under common projects in respect of integration with industrial processes.

Ömer Yasin Adıgüzel, one of our R&D engineer, has shared his knowledge and experience with the attendants at the panel “Importance of Mechatronics Engineering in Industry 4.0” organized during EURASIA Metalworking and WIN EURASIA, the most important automation and production exhibition in Turkey, organized by the Tuyap Fair Convention and Congress Center between March 15 and 18.
